Meet Amy Vorstadt!
Hi there, I’m Amy. Typically, this is the part where I’d tell you my qualifications. And yes—I do have some letters after my name (and a few more on the way)—but that’s not what makes me the right person to support you. What brought me here, and shapes the way I show up for my clients, is my own lived experiences.

My passion for psychotherapy began long before I fully understood what therapy was. Growing up with trauma and feeling consistently misunderstood, I carried anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, anger, and insecurity into my teens and adulthood.
At some point, I realized I didn’t want to live in a constant state of fight-or-flight. I chose to face what was happening beneath the surface, process it, and create change with both determination and self-compassion. That combination—perseverance and self-kindness—is what I bring into my work with clients.
I work with youth and adults navigating concerns such as trauma, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, mood struggles, depression, perfectionism, and insecurity. My approach is tailored to each person, blending empathy and understanding with practical support to meet you where you are.
My style is relaxed, approachable, and rooted in connection. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, make sense of your experiences, and take steps toward the changes you want to see in your life.

Much like my experiences led me to this work, yours have brought you here. If this feels like a good fit, I’d love the opportunity to connect and support you on your journey.
