Meet Laura Breau
Hi, Welcome! I appreciate how difficult it can be to reach out for support, and I am honoured you are here.
My name is Laura Breau, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Certified Child Life Specialist, and Certified AutoPlay Provider with over 20 years working with children and families. While I specalize in working with children, teens, and families, I also have a passion for working with young adults as they transition into adulthood.

Working through a trauma-informed lens, some of the areas I specialize in are anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, self-esteem, grief and loss,
disability, and challenging family dynamics.
I working primarily from a client-directed approach following the lead of my clients as I hold space for their individual stories and experiences. Drawing from a variety of theories and modalities, my overall approach to therapy is integrative, yet rooted in attachment and polyvagal theory.
Outside of my role as a therapist you will find me spending time with my children, husband, and pets. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, swim, and read.
