Meet Monika Garncarek
Hey there, I am Monika Garncarek, and I am here to support you through whatever challenges life is placing in front of you. In a world that can feel overwhelming, fast-paced, and demanding, I want you to know that you do not have to navigate your struggles alone. Your wellbeing matters, and you deserve space to slow down, breathe, and be cared for.
I see life as a winding journey—full of moments we prepare for, and others that arrive unexpectedly. Through my own path, I’ve faced anxiety, loss, family conflict, work pressures, and the day-to-day challenges that can shake your confidence. These experiences ground my practice in empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding that healing is never linear. Some days you move forward, some days you pause, and both are perfectly okay. What matters is giving yourself grace along the way.
Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with diverse youth, women, and families in community and mental health settings, supporting individuals through conflict, anxiety, emotional regulation, identity development, and the realities of growing up in a world that asks so much of us. I also have meaningful experience supporting children and youth who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD, helping them build skills, confidence, and self-understanding.
I am especially drawn to supporting women and youth who are navigating general anxiety, stress, self-development, confidence, grief, life transitions, relationship dynamics, family conflict, and women's mental health concerns. Nothing is too challenging for us to unpack together—we work at your pace, in a safe and encouraging space.
My therapeutic style is warm, open, and collaborative. I aim to empower you to reconnect with yourself, build emotional resilience, and move toward the life you want with greater clarity and confidence. I consider it an honour to be part of someone’s healing journey, and I look forward to walking alongside you as you discover the strength and possibilities within yourself.
I am able to offer therapy in both Polish and English to support clients in the language they feel most comfortable with.
